The Academy winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio has been criticized for dating 22-year old model/actor Camila Morrone. However, Camila has defended the age difference in their relationship and said that age is just a number for her.

During a tell-all interview with the Los Angeles Times, the budding actress revealed she isn't bothered by their huge age gap but admitted to understanding why people are interested in it. "There’s so many relationships in Hollywood — and in the history of the world — where people have large age gaps,” she said.

She further added, “I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date.”

The couple has been dating for almost two years and 45-year-old DiCaprio is more often criticized for dating 22-year old whenever they made any public appearance together.

It isn’t the first time Morrone has made a comment about their age gap. In July, she posted a snap on Instagram of actor Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart and captioned the great black-and-white shot as “a love like this.”
