Dua Mangi, who was abducted last week from Bukhari Commercial in Karachi's DHA, finally returned home on Saturday.
South Zone DIG Sharjeel Kharal's office confirmed the news of her return, local media reported. The office has further said that investigation in the case is still ongoing. The family is yet to issue a statement.
Welcoming her return, lawyer and activist Jibran Nasir noted that Dua's kidnappers were still at large. In a tweet he said the hunt for the kidnappers must continue 'otherwise Godforbid one of our family members could be the next victims'.

Last Saturday, Dua and her friend Haris Fatah were strolling along the main road in DHA Bukhari Commercial area when they were intercepted by armed men. The men shot at Haris when he put up resistance and kidnapped Dua. Haris was rushed to the hospital while the search for the girl started.
The DIG had said on Thursday that the case appeared to be a case of kidnapping for ransom. However, Dua's family had dismissed news of getting a call for ransom.
