National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has recovered Rs 5 billion through plea bargain during year 2019. According to annual performance evaluation of NAB Karachi, the bureau has made direct recoveries amounting to Rs 5 billion through plea bargain during year 2019 while the figures of indirect recoveries stood at Rs 702 billion

Similarly, the NAB, Karachi, which disposed of 9887 complaints and conducted 141 inquires and 65 investigations; filed 37 references and arrested 141 persons in year 2019.

Meanwhile, NAB said over the past decade, it has geared up its operations against the corrupt and has been performing exceptionally well under the vision and guidance of chairman NAB that helped achieving the confidence of public at large during the year.
