Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday took notice of violent lawyers' attack on Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC). The Prime Minister has sought report from Punjab Chief Secretary (CS) Azam Suleiman Khan and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Shoaib Dastagir on clash between lawyers and doctors on Wednesday which reportedly left four people injured.

The lawyers reportedly stormed into the PIC and broke windows of the emergency ward. Provincial Information & Culture Minister Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan was also beaten by lawyers. The Prime Minister has reportedly directed Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar to immediately visit the PIC.
