The second edition of KFC Karachi Premier League has tentatively been scheduled to begin from December 27 here at Naya Nazimabad Cricket Stadium.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between KPL CEO Moiz Bin Zahid and KFC CMO Muhammad Noor Alam on Thursday here at KFC Gulshan Iqbal branch in the presence of other guests and media. KPL Patron-in-Chief Zeeshan Altaf Lohya was also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, KFC CMO Noor Alam said that his team was very excited to collaborate with KPL management to organize this exciting T20 tournament. "KFC has always supported cricket in the country. We sponsored KFC Karachi Premier League season 1 to promote ground level opportunities for cricketers and has been active part of national and international cricket circuits. We are looking forward for another exciting tournament full of action as the previous edition turned out," said KFC CMO Noor Alam. Meanwhile, KPL CEO Moiz Bin Zahid said that eight teams will be seen in action during the tournament, which will be spread over 16 days and a total of 31 matches.
The tournament has tentatively been scheduled to begin from December 27. Moiz further said that the participating teams will be revealed later in another press briefing along with full details related to the second edition of the tournament.
