Nine illegal housing schemes demolished in Faisalabad

The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has demolished and sealed nine illegal and unapproved housing schemes at Satiana road during grand operation.

During the operation 10 persons were arrested by the police who were involved in illegal selling of plots. Giving details, Director General FDA Suhail Khawaja told that action had been taken against the illegal housing schemes included including Doctor City, Defence View Executive Block, Prime City Extension, Blossom City, Palm City, Azafi Abadi Akbar Nagar, Azafi Abadi Chak No. 71/GB, Prime Campus and Naseem Garden.

He said that the revenue of Rs.300 million was expected to be recovered from the owners of these illegal housing schemes in heads of different fee charges. He informed that Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali and CPO Capt.

Suhail Ch provided all out cooperation for taking action against these illegal and unapproved housing scheme to make the grand operation a success. He said that comprehensive strategy had been evolved to control the establishment of illegal housing colonies and departmental action was underway without any discrimination.

He asked the owners of illegal and unapproved housing schemes to get their housing schemes approved by fulfilling all legal and codal requirements, otherwise, strict legal action would be taken against the elements found involved in this illegal practice.
