Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has once again moved the Lahore High Court (LHC) seeking removal of her name from the Exit Control List (ECL).

The fresh application was filed by her lawyers Muhammad Amjad Pervaiz and Azam Nazeer Tarar on Saturday. In her petition, Maryam has once again asked a one-time permission to travel abroad for six weeks from the date of departure, local media reported.

Maryam was granted bail by the LHC after her father Nawaz Sharif's health deteriorated. She was also asked to submit her passport to the court, while her name was placed on the ECL. Maryam is being investigated in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case by the accountability watchdog.
