People of Pakistan will remain indebted and grateful to Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah forever for creating a separate homeland for the Muslims of the sub-continent through his inspired leadership and great statesmanship.
This was stated by world-renowned Pakistani artist, social crusader and peace activist Jimmy Engineer while addressing a function, organized by the Pakistani community members in connection with the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, in Houston, USA, according to a message received here.
He said that the Quaid-i-Azam had led the Muslims quite inspiringly to transform the concept of a separate homeland for them presented by the great thinker and poet Allama Iqbal into a reality in a short span of just seven years. He said that millions of Muslim men, women and children had sacrificed their lives while migrating to their new homeland so that they could live in a free, independent and sovereign State of Pakistan as per their desires and liking.
Jimmy stressed the dire need for the revival of the Pakistan Movement spirit to squarely and unitedly face the internal and external challenges faced by Pakistan and its people including extremism, militancy and terrorism.
