That Saudi Arabia is a country that helps at a difficult time is a fact. According to media reports, Saudi foreign minister Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud has conveyed the 'firm' commitment of Saudi leadership to further deepening of "fraternal ties and multi-faceted cooperation with Pakistan in various fields including trade, investment, energy and tourism."
His remarks clearly indicate the Saudi approach to the incumbent PTI government with which the kingdom wants to take current level of bilateral relationship to a new height. By staying away from the recent Kuala Lumpur summit Pakistan has shown to Saudi Arabia that it is not an ungrateful country.
