The Excise department has warned Safe City Authority (SCA) of not sharing data of vehicles without its prior approval. In a letter, it has criticized the Safe City Authority for sharing of vehicles' data with the Federal Board of Revenue without its permission. The Safe City Authority had shared data of 100 such owners who have got registered 100 to 500 vehicles in their names. The data was provided by the Excise department to the Authority for e-challaning and monitoring purposes.
