Former president, Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and general secretary Businessmen Panel (BMP), Hajji Ghulam Ali has attributed the win of group in the annual elections of the apex trade body to the triumph of the business community across the country.
He expressed gratitude to business community for reposing confidence in the BMP leadership. The former Senator was talking to newsmen after arrival at Peshawar from Karachi along with the newly elected vice president, Qaiser Khan Daudzai. On arrival at Bacha Khan International Airport (BKIA) Peshawar, president Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajran, Malik Meher Elahi, general secretary Shakeel Saraf, president, Mohmand Chamber Hajji Ghulam Nabi, Shakireen Khan, Mohammad Shoaib Khan and executive and general body members from Khyber Pakhtunkhawa accorded them warm welcome.
They also attributed the victory of the BMP in the FPCCI polls to the hard work and untired efforts of Hajji Ghulam Ali. They also welcomed the election of Qaiser Khan as vice president a matter of pride for the province.
Speaking on the occasion, Hajji Ghulam Ali said that they newly elected panel in FPCCI will leave no stone unturned in the revival of the stagnant economy, development of commerce and industry and for this purpose raise voice in all corridors of power including meeting with the prime minister.
He said that cut in the discount rate, taxes, supply of power and gas for industries and granting other incentives to business community will atop their priorities and very soon the business community will witnessed visible change in this regard.
