The futures spread declined by 188bps to 8.78 percent on the last day of the outgoing week.

Trading activities on the futures counter improved as average daily volumes increased by 119.5 percent to 194.20 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 88.46 million shares. Average daily trading value increased by 77.6 percent and stood at Rs 6.87 billion.
