The Journalist panel secured victory in the Lahore Press Club elections held the other day. Arshad Ansari has once again been elected as President of the Club while Qaddafi Butt elected as Vice President, Babar Dogar as Secretary, Hafiz Faiz as Joint Secretary and Zahid Sherwani as Treasurer.

Those elected for the Governing body included Shahid Ch, Deeba Mirza, Imran Sh, Furqan Elahi, Amjad Farooq, Husnain Ch Mohy-ud-Din, Hassan Taimoor and Tariq Mughal. Rai Husnain Tahir was the only candidate from the contesting Progressive Group elected as Senior Vice President.
