The city's weather is expected to turn gusty in the next 24 hours with a minimum temperature ranging up to 9 degrees Celsius, the Met Office forecast on Tuesday. It said that the metropolis weather is likely to remain cold and dry as well on Wednesday. Minimum humidity may range up to 30 percent and maximum 60 percent.
In the next 24 hours: An isolated Light rain-thunderstorm with snowfall over mountain is expected in upper hilly areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. Dense fog is likely to prevail over most plains of Punjab and upper Sindh while in a few plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the night hours. Cold and dry weather is expected in most areas of the country while very cold in upper areas.

Minimum temperature: Skardu witnessed minus 18 degrees Celsius, Bagrote minus 11, Gupis minus 9, Astore minus 8, Kalat minus 7, Parachinar minus 5, Hunza, Giglit and Bannu minus 4, each, Kalam, Rawalakot, Chillas, Chakwal, Quetta and Malamjabba minus 3, each.
"Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is likely to affect western and upper parts of the country from Wednesday," the Met added.
