Over six cases of various kinds of theft, four cases each of carjacking and kidnapping, and one murder case were reported to various police stations of the city during the last week. According to data gathered by Business Recorder, most "favorite" areas for the criminal gangs were within the limits of Bhara Kahu, Karachi Company and Sabzi Mandi police stations.
In the last week, Karachi Company police station registered two cases of robbery and one case of kidnapping. One Fakhar Abbas informed Karachi Company police station that unknown robbers stole cash, gold ornaments and other necessary documents from his house.
One Sadia Saher lodged a complaint with Karachi Company police station that accused Azeem and three others allegedly beat her security guard and kidnapped his son. Another Ibrar Ullah lodged a complaint with Karachi Company police station that accused Sajjid allegedly stole Rs 1,300,000 from his cash counter. During the last week, Bhara Kahu police station registered one case each of kidnapping, auto theft and robbery. One Muhammad Ilyas filed a complaint with Bhara Kahu police station that unknown people allegedly abducted his father Khizer Muhammad in a vehicle bearing registration number MHR-616.
Motor vehicle thieves stole a car bearing registration number EF-690 of one Muhammad Adnan. One Imran Tauqeer lodged a complaint with Bhara Kahu police station that unidentified robbers stole two LEDs, two laptops, a pistol, a wrist watch, cash and gold ornaments from his house.
Sabzi Mandi police station registered one case each of murder and motor vehicle theft. Auto thieves stole a Suzuki van bearing registration number LED-1804 of one Shuja Rehman. One Saeeda Bibi lodged a complaint with Sabzi Mandi police station that accused Adnan and Umer allegedly killed her husband for contracting a love marriage with her. In the same period, Koral and Shehzad Town police stations lodged one case each of kidnapping, while Golra, Industrial Area and Lohi Bher police stations registered one case each of theft.
