Chairman, Aman Taraqqi Party (ATP), Muhammad Faiq Shah has said the industrial revolution is essential for bringing sustainable economic growth and development in country.
Shah was addressing a meeting of the party's Central Executive Committee here on Sunday. The party senior activists, including Muhammad Awais Khan, Arsalan Shah, Mansoor Qaiser, Ishtiaq Elahi, Talha Ahmad Chatta, Khurram, Fazil Shakeer, Mir Wali Shah, Jamil Khan and scores of others were present in the meeting.
The party chairman said the industrial revolution is dire need of the hour to improve exports and put the country on path of durable development and progress. However, he said the PM Imran Khan should come out from imagination and take practical steps to safe the poor masses from increasing waves of inflation.
He said 'price hike' has touched new heights during last nine years as prices of essential food commodities are increasing with each passing day. On the other hand, Shah said the increasing hike in electricity and gas tariffs has broken back of the poverty stricken masses. He said the inflation has imposed on poor masses to meet IMF and WB targets.
ATP chief criticized the government has adopted 'anti-masses' policies on behest of IMF and WB to meet their targets and erasing the poor. He said the situation is going from bad to worst from each passing day as government completely failed in making 'pro-poor' policies.
He said the turmoil, uncertainty and ratio of crime is growing in the country. He said the government and opposition have kept their interest atop but they didn't make efforts to resolve the issues of masses, he denounced.
Shah said the politics interest and ego are nurturing amid increasing chaos, which should be changed in national interest. He said ATP is standby poor masses and will continue playing its role as positive opposition.
