Chicago Board of Trade soyabean futures rebounded on Monday from steep losses in the prior session as hopes for improved exports to China outweighed worries over rising Middle East tensions, analysts said. Actively traded March soyabean futures tumbled 1.5% on Friday a drop which some analysts said was overdone.
A Chinese trade delegation is planning to travel to Washington on Jan. 13 for the signing of the US-China Phase 1 trade deal, the South China Morning Post reported. The deal is expected to boost US soyabean sales to China.
