The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) parliamentary leader in Punjab assembly Hassan Murtaza said on Wednesday the government was not serious in solving problems of traders and industrialists.

Speaking at a press conference, he said the announcement of holding a traders' convention by the Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is merely eyewash. The objective of this exercise is to ensure political gains, he added.
