According to details, the Collectorate has noticed that most of the clearing agents and their authorized representatives did not display Customs permit while visiting the Customs offices regarding clearance of their consignments. In addition, it has also been observed that clearing agents have also engaged private persons (without Customs permit for clearance of consignments). Keeping the said in view, the Collectorate has restricted the clearing agents or their authorized representatives to enter into MCC JIAP for any purpose and ordered the Customs staff posted at the gate to ensure the compliance of the order.
