Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP), Muhammad Faiq Shah termed the impending flour, sugar crisis in the country and gradual increase in electricity and gas tariffs as worst incompetence of the incumbent PTI led government.
Faiq Shah while speaking to party central leaders and office bearers here on Tuesday said government is being faced with mismanagement, while the country is suffering from economic and ethics growth. He opined that some ministers openly violated moral values, ethics and tarnishing image of national institutions by sitting in TV talks shows.
The party central leader, Mian Asif Mehmood advocate, Nazakat Hussain Abbasi, Muhammad Awais, Mansoor Qaiser Chouhan, Arsalan and others were present in the meeting.
ATP chairman criticizing the opposition over silence on major public issues and inactiveness to raise voice to mitigate their miseries. He called upon the government, opposition to set aside their personal differences, interests and political gains and to jointly work for amicable resolution of the masses problems.
He said his party will support them (opposition) at any forum but they (rulers) must also be held accountable and pass through assessment process.
While commenting on two separate petitions filed in High Court and Election Commission of Pakistan by ATP against federal minister for water resources, Faisal Vawda's over submission of fake affidavit of his oath in ECP, Shah said his party will never compromise on public and country interests and will take every possible measures to protect citizens' rights and the nation's interest.
