The PTI-led Punjab government has sent flour bags to PML-N Punjab Information Secretary Uzma Bukhari's residence in Lahore.
Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Chairman Umar Tanveer said on Wednesday the PML-N leader had requested to send flour to her house if there was no shortage. Uzma Bukhari said she had been sending her cook for three days to buy flour but could not get it at Rs 790 per 20 kilograms, Umar Tanveer remarked. "We have respected Uzma Bukhari's wish and sent a truck of flour bags to her house," he said. Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said there is no shortage of wheat across the province, however, people of Sindh province are facing shortage of wheat due to negligence of their government.
