A gigantic rally led by VC SU Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat, pro vice chancellors, focal persons, deans, academic and administrative heads, faculty, officers, employees and students marked Kashmir Solidarity Day in a monumental manner at SU main campus at Jamshoro.

The rally was organized by Bureau of Students Tutorial Guidance / Counseling Services and Co-curricular Activities (STAGS) in collaboration with Department of International Relations and Pakistan Study Centre.

Banners and placards bearing statements in favor of Kashmir cause, assailing Indian atrocities, projecting praise of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iaqbal, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa hall-marked this historic walk. Those banners and placards were reinforced by others of the kind brandishing slogans like 'Down with Indian brutalities', 'Down with Curfew', 'Down with Modi', 'Our struggle will continue till Kashmir became Pakistan', 'Kashmir demands liberation', 'Kashmir is Pakistan's life-line', and 'We are there to sacrifice our lives for Kashmir'.

SU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat, in his address on the occasion said that India had been shamelessly flouting UN Security council resolutions honoring Kashmiri peoples' right to self-determination for long time.
