Former foreign minister of Pakistan Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri said on Wednesday that role of General Assembly has not been effective. Security Council is more powerful. There is a need of strategic communication on Kashmir issue.
He expressed these views in a conference organized by The Lahore Center for Peace Research (LCPR). The conference was attended by wife of Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik Mishaal Malick, chairman LCPR and former ambassador Shamshad Ahmed, Chairman University of Lahore Awais Raoof, Secretary Management and Professional Development Khalid Sherdil, Executive director LCPR Dr Mujahid Mansoori and students.
Kasuri said that civil disobedience movement has begun in Kashmir against Indian government of Narendra Modi. He expressed his concern that Daesh can enter Kashmir from Khorasan area if the situation remains the same in Indian held Kashmir. Pakistan always plays an important role in the struggle of Kashmiris.
