A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Mirage aircraft crashed while on a routine operational training mission on Friday near Shorkot, Punjab.
In a statement the PAF spokesperson said that the pilot ejected safely and no loss of life or property has been reported on ground. A board of inquiry has been ordered to determine the cause of the accident, local media reported.
Last month, two pilots of the PAF died when an FT-7 aircraft crashed near Mianwali. The plane had taken off from an airbase on routine training mission but crashed when it developed technical issues.
