Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Imran Khan on Health Dr Zafar Mirza said on Saturday that Pakistani students who returned from China have all been tested negative.

The SAPM took to his Twitter handle and said that 43 tests have been performed on samples taken from suspected patients who recently returned from China. "Alhamdolilah all of them are negative. This includes also a sample of a student from Khairpur," he tweeted.

On February 3, 69 passengers arrived from China including 57 Pakistanis and 12 Chinese. Since the outbreak of the coronavirus in China, more than 700 people have died and nearly 35,000 cases have been confirmed. So far, no cases have been confirmed in Pakistan. However, four Pakistani students in Wuhan, China have been diagnosed with the virus.
