Kabaddi World Cup 2020 begins in Pakistan

All is set for the 'Kabaddi World Cup 2020' being hosted in three cities Lahore, Faisalabad and Gujrat from February 9 to 16. The grand opening and closing ceremonies of the mega event will be held at Punjab Stadium on February 9 and 16, 2020, respectively. The event is jointly organized by Punjab government, Sports Board Punjab (SBP) and Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF).

As many as 14 matches of Kabaddi World Cup 2020 will be played at Punjab Stadium in Lahore, eight matches at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad and two matches will be staged at Zahoor Elahi Stadium in Gujrat. Overall 24 matches will be played during the mega event.

Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Tourism Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti said "There will be great jovial environment during the Kabaddi World Cup and Punjab people must enjoy the thrilling Kabaddi matches among the best teams of the world."
