Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that Sindh respects the orders of courts and is trying to ensure implementation of their orders, adding that the railway track, on the orders of SC, would be got cleared.
He said people could not be made homeless without giving them alternate place. He further said encroachments would be removed and people would be given alternate place.
These views he expressed while talking to media persons at the concluding ceremony of Live Stock Expo-2020 here on Sunday evening.
Replying to a question, he said that the letter had been sent to the federal government for change of IG Sindh and expressed hope that the Centre would respect our desire in this regard.
The Sindh CM said that almost all breeds of live stock found in Pakistan were exhibited in the Live Stock Expo and certainly its credit goes to Sindh Live Stock Department.
He said the budget of Expo was a public document which would be presented in the Assembly and added that separate amount would be allocated in annual budget for such expos and exhibitions every year. He announced to organize Live Stock Expo every year in the province.
Earlier, addressing as the chief guest at the concluding ceremony of Live Stock Expo, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said that the Sindh government was trying to develop live stock and Agriculture departments on priority basis as 60% population of the country depends on these two sectors.
He said organizing a Live Stock Expo was the big challenge which was done successfully by Sindh Live Stock Minister Abdul Bari Pitafi. He said after seeing different stalls in the Expo I had come to know that our country was rich in unique breeds of Live Stock. He said by adopting modern methods and technology for breeding, we could increase production of milk and meat which would fulfill the need of Sindh and the whole country as well.
Addressing on this occasion, Sindh Minister for Live Stock Abdul Bari Pitafi said that the research papers read out in the seminar were benefited veterinary doctors and Live Stock owners. He informed that besides 32 breeds of goats, 12 breeds of sheep, buffaloes, cows, camel, horses, birds and fishes were exhibited in the Expo.
The advisor to CM Balochistan on Live Stock & Dairy Development Haji Mittha Khan Kaker lauded efforts of the Sindh government for organizing such a big live stock expo in Hyderabad. He said big part of country's population was connected with the live stock and investment could be got by developing live stock sector which would also help in creating job opportunities.
On this occasion, The Chief Minister gave away souvenirs to provincial engineer Abdul Bari Pataphi and others, while provincial minister Abdul Bari Tatapi also presented the Memorial Shield to the Chief Minister of Sindh.
Provincial ministers Muhammad Ismail Raho, Shabir Ahmed Bajarani and the Members of National and Provincial Assembly, as well as the Divisional and District Administration Hyderabad and vice chancellor Agriculture University Tando Jam Dr Mujibuddin were also present.
