Sindh Excise and Taxation department on Thursday claimed to have substantial quantity of hashish at Kandiaro Rasoolabad. According to details, during the ongoing operation against drug dealers under the direction of the provincial minister, excise police intercepted a truck bearing registration Tk-883 at Kandiaro Rasoolabad check-post.

During search of the said truck, the department has recovered 46 kilograms of charas concealed in a hidden cavity. Consequent upon recovery, the accused Qadir Shah has been arrested. The accused is said to be a resident of Quetta. A case has been registered against the accused. Further investigation is in progress.
