ISLAMABAD: Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad Sunday said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi could not suppress the voice of oppressed Kashmiri people through tyranny and dictatorship.

Nobody was supporting Indian atrocities and barbarism on Kashmiris inside India as well, he said talking to a private news channel.

The minister strongly condemned the genocide and bloodbath against the people of Kashmir by India troops.

Kashmiri people were rendering supreme sacrifices for noble cause of freedom and would continue their freedom movement till its logical conclusion, he added.

He said Pakistan was raising the Kashmir issue at every available forum and the world was acknowledging Kashmir as a disputed territory. Pakistan was supporting the cause of Kashmir politically, morally and diplomatically, he added.

Replying to a question, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan was an honest and righteous leader of the country, who would bring the country out of crisis.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government under the dynamic leadership of Imran Khan was trying to alleviate inflation and poverty, he stated.

He said the Sharif family had looted the national exchequer ruthlessly and always preferred to live abroad. Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif should come back to Pakistan and face cases registered against them.

He said the leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz were demanding to allow Maryam Nawaz to go London but it was not possible because she was involved in corruption cases.
