Imran Memorial Junior Squash enters into quarter-final stage

Second seeded Saki Ullah Tareen entered into the quarter-finals of the ongoing All Pakistan Imran Mohib Memorial Junior Squash Championship being played here at PAF Hashim Khan Squash Complex on Thursday.

Saki Ullah, recorded a key victory against third seeded Mobeen Khan of PAF in a five sets battle fought of rattling pace.

Former World Champion Qamar Zaman witnessed the matches.

Mobeen Khan after conceding two sets very quickly won the third and fourth sets, the score was 9-11 and 11-13. It was in the fifth set when Saki Ullah came back strongly and marched into victory at 11-9 and thus moved to the quarter-finals.

In the other matches Ibrhaim Mohib recorded victory against Yoshawa Yousaf. Abdullah Nawaz of PAF beat Luqman Hassan of PAF by 3-0. Similarly, Muhammad Zaman of Sindh registered victory against Rayyab Mohib of KP in straight sets, the score was 11-8, 11-8 and 11-9; Abdullah Nadeem of Punjab beat Abdul Arsalan of Punjab by 3-0; Huraira Khan of PAF beat Muhammad Usman Tahir of Punjab by 3-0.
