Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja visited the Election Commissioner Punjab on Thursday. Ghulam Israr Khan, Election Commissioner Punjab, welcomed him and briefed him in detail about the elections in the province of Punjab and related administrative measures. Other officers of the provincial office were also present on the occasion.

The provincial chief Election Commission also apprised the chief Election Commissioner about the activities of the office, including preparations for the local bodies' elections, delimitation of cantonment boards, performance of display centres for a review of the electoral rolls and other affairs.

Raja expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements for elections in the province of Punjab. He also visited various sections of the office on the occasion.
