Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has said the government is planning three-year Hajj policy for the private sector instead of a single year. The Hajj policy for the private sector will be announced soon.

The Minister was speaking at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) here on Friday. He said Hajj is a religious obligation which generates at least US $100 billion business worldwide annually. Pakistan has huge share in the business activities associated with Hajj.

LCCI office-bearers, Convener Standing Committee on Hajj and Umrah Tour Operators Jawaid Akhtar and executive committee members were present on the occasion.
