Abdul Jalil while speaking on the occasion shed light on importance of holding the awareness seminar jointly organized by SCCI and PSX Islamabad region at the chamber house, said in a statement issued here on Sunday.
SCCI VP urged that the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) must be provided easy access to cheap capital through stock exchange to grow and earn profit from the fast-growing economy of Pakistan.
He said the SCCI is prime chamber of the province, which has played pivotal role to resolve the business community issues on priority basis. He thanked the PSX for arranging such informative session about the Pakistan Stock Exchange for business community. He expressed hope that the traders' community will get firsthand knowledge about the PSX.
Jalil Jan while underlining the importance of stock exchange termed it a barometer to measure the economic strength of Pakistan, and said economists could easily determine the health of any economy through its stock exchange in addition to assessing future trends in a specific economy.
Iqra Awan through her multi-media presentation highlighted the benefits of making investment in Pakistan Stock Exchange. Asghar Naqvi gave an overview of the stock exchange in Pakistan, saying it has decided to open doors of capital market on the SME sector. He informed the business community that Pakistan Stock Exchange is going to establish its regional office in Peshawar very soon, which would helpful to facilitate business community and investors in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
