Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak passed away on Tuesday after suffering long illness.
The former president was 91. He ruled Egypt for 30 years until he was ousted following mass protests against his rule in 2011. Mubarak was jailed for years after the uprising, but was acquitted of most charges in 2017.
Mubarak who ruled the country for three decades, was found guilty of complicity in the killing of protesters during the country’s 2011 Arab Spring revolution.
