Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan (SAPM) on Health Dr Zafar Mirza said on Friday that Pakistan will be allowing Pakistani pilgrims from Iran to return in the next few days.

In a tweet from his official Twitter handle, the SAPM said that he visited Taftan-Zahdan border and reviewed the situation there. He further said that after reviewing the situation, they have come up with a plan.

He continued that pilgrims will be allowed to return to Pakistan in batches after full health screening. "Point of entry is being strengthened. Thanks to all for the hard work!," he tweeted.

In another tweet, the assistant said that the two patients confirmed to have coronavirus in Pakistan are stable and improving. "Contacts traced until now and tested are all negative, Alhamdililah," the SAPM added.
