The Consul-General of Qatar, Mishal Mohammed Ali Al-Ansari, has said that his country wants to further strengthen trade relations with Pakistan. Speaking at a meeting at the Pakistan Chemicals & Dyes Merchants Association (PCDMA), he emphasized the need for joint efforts to enhance bilateral trade and investment. The consul-general informed the meeting about existing business opportunities in Qatar. Al-Ansari advised the business community to establish contacts with Qatari businessmen which would help boost trade.
In this regard, the consulate would provide all possible facilities to the Pakistani businessmen, he added. PCDMA chairman Amin Yousuf Balgamwala said that the balance of trade was in favor of Qatar. Balgamwala also briefed the envoy about tourism, vegetables and fruit sectors and urged the envoy to promote export in these sectors.
