Pakistan Steel Mill (PSM) chairman Aamir Mumtaz on Saturday met the management of the Punjab Mineral Company (PMC) to review a possibility of collaboration between the two institutions for indigenous resource utilization.
The PSM chairman met Punjab Mines and Mineral Secretary Amir Ejaz Akbar and other members of the PMC Management. The meeting also explored possibilities of creating working relationship between PMC and PSM for the betterment of Pakistan and plays a positive role in Pakistan's economic growth.
The secretary briefed the chairman about the scope of use of iron ore by PSM. He said that the working relationship between the two main departments of the country will prove a milestone in strengthening the economy of Pakistan. "Such collaboration will help in developing stronger economic ties between the federal and provincial governments," he added.
