The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a reference against Benazir Income Support Programme's former chairperson Farzana Raja and 18 others in the Accountability Court over corruption in the programme.
The accused had allegedly allotted illegal contracts to four advertising companies that inflicted Rs 46 billion losses to the support programme.
Moreover, the bureau has submitted a 32-page reference in the accountability court against the Pakistan People's Party leader and others. The reference has been forwarded to the registrar's office for scrutiny.
