Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussein Saturday telephoned Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and exchanged views on the country's current political situation and other matters of mutual interest.

Sources claimed that Shujaat requested Maulana Fazl that secrets of trust should not be disclosed, adding that the JUI-F chief's guidance was required for the resolution of internal affairs of the state. "The nation has bestowed its trust upon us; we need to work jointly for resolving issues of the nation and discuss about the trust." The sources claimed that both expressed resolve to meet soon to discuss important issues. It may be noted that the PML-Q is active ahead of local bodies' polls and different political figures are joining the party.
