The Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has suspended travel to nine countries for its citizens and residents as the number of coronavirus cases reached 15 in the kingdom.
The nine countries are the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Lebanon, Syria, Bahrain, South Korea, Egypt, Italy and Iraq. It has also put a temporary lockdown on its eastern oil-producing province of Qatif.
The kingdom has also suspended schools and universities nationwide. On Monday, the country reported four new cases, including an American arrival who visited Italy and the Philippines, international media reported. The four new cases took the tally to 15.
