No in-house change or mid-term polls, Tareen tells Buzdar

Senior PTI leader Jehangir Khan Tareen in a meeting with Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, here on Monday said that the opposition has no agenda and neither there will be any in-house change nor mid-term elections in the country.

"The hopes of dreamers will remain unfulfilled and the PTI will also win the next general elections," Tareen said.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including issues pertaining to Southern Punjab Secretariat came under discussion.

Tareen said the most transparent government is constantly engaged in public service under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He said the progress made with regard to the establishment of Southern Punjab Secretariat is praiseworthy.

Talking on this occasion, the chief minister said that the PTI government will complete its term under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The conspirators should justify the loot and plunder made in their tenures and the politics of those, who made the country bankrupt, has ended forever, he added.

He said the incumbent government will burn the midnight oil to fulfill the promises made with the people. The matter of Southern Punjab Secretariat will be solved amicably, he added. Moreover, Buzdar has paid rich tributes to Colonel Mujeeb-ur-Rehman who embraced martyrdom during an operation against terrorists in D.I. Khan.

Buzdar has also congratulated the Hindu community on their festival of Holi and said that this festival promotes brotherhood in the society. He stated that the people belonging to different faiths are equal citizens while Hindu community has played an important role in national development. He reiterated that all the religious minorities have complete protection and religious freedom and they have been included in the national mainstream by providing equal opportunities of progress.
