Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has decided to close all educational institutions for 15 days in the wake of the coronavirus in Pakistan where 22 have been tested positive.
KP Chief Minister on Information and Public Relations Ajmal Khan Wazir said that the KP cabinet has also decided to keep all hostels shut during this time period, local media reported.
All meetings in festivals and social as well as political gatherings will also be restricted.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has decided to keep educational institutions across the province closed until May 31. Sindh Information Minister Saeed Ghani said that matric examinations for ninth and 10th grade, which were to start on March 16 have also been suspended.
