Coronavirus spread: Chief Justice for fumigation in SHC premises

Chief Justice (CJ) Sindh High Court (SHC) Ahmed Ali M Sheikh on Friday directed for proper fumigation in high court premises including chambers, court rooms, office/branches, offices of Bar and other departments located in the premises of high court in Karachi and other parts of province in view of fears of spread of coronavirus.

According to a circular, CJ SHC also directed that windows and ventilators of court rooms and offices/branches in court rooms be kept open.

He also directed that persons whose attendance is required by the courts may only be allowed to enter in the court rooms.

SHC top judge also directed for carrying out proper fumigation, sterilization and other necessary pre-cautionary measures in all jails premises in Sindh and ordered to stop the unnecessary entry of public in jail premises in view of spreading of coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) requested SHC for spreading general awareness about the pandemic disease coronavirus. SHCBA requested its members to adopt the safety measures to save from the virus.
