Islamic State (ISIS) has issued directives to its members amid the coronavirus outbreak and has told them to steer clear of Europe.
ISIS’ newsletter, 'al-Naba' has published a list of 'religious directives' on tackling the infectious disease which has taken over the world. It describes the coronavirus as the plague and a torment sent by God on whomsoever He wills.
The ISIS told the members to 'put trust in God and seek refuge in Him from illnesses'. At the same time it instructed them to wash their hands before eating and to cover their mouth when coughing or sneezing. It also asked members to avoid infected persons 'as you flee from the lion'.
It also asked followers to practice the 'counsel that the healthy should not enter the land of the epidemic and the afflicted or infected should not exit from it'.
