Following the spike of coronavirus cases in Punjab, the province has decided to extend the restrictions till April 14.
In a tweet from official Twitter handle, Punjab government spokesperson Musarrat Cheema shared the notification by the government. She also asked the public follow the guidelines issued by government and ensure that they do not leave home unless necessary.

On Monday, the province reported a spike in the coronavirus cases. The total number of cases in the province have jumped to 1493.
Meanwhile, the provincial police department in a notification said that under-trial prisoners will no longer be presented in any courts from today till April 14 due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The number of cases in Pakistan have crossed 3000. Sindh too has extended its lockdown till April 14 to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
