ICE Canadian canola futures edged up on Monday.
Volumes were very quiet, a trader said, with canola following soyabeans and soyabean oil.
May canola gained $1.20 to $462.60 per tonne.
May-July canola spread traded 4,271 times.
US soyabean futures slid to a two-week low at midday, before edging higher on signs that drought conditions in South America could erode Brazil's bumper harvest. Euronext May rapeseed futures and Malaysian June palm oil futures rose.
