Pakistan's total number of coronavirus cases reached on Thursday 4322 after several confirmed cases were reported in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Islamabad.
Coronavirus has taken the lives of 63 people in Pakistan. The country has seen 572 recoveries from the deadly virus so far.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar in a tweet on Thursday confirmed 58 more coronavirus cases. The new numbers take the provincial total to 2,166. Buzdar further said 1,416 of the patients are pilgrims in quarantine centres, Tableeghi Jamaat members and inmates in jails, while 756 are other citizens.
"We urge the citizens to follow precautionary measures & stay indoors!" the CM tweeted.

Meanwhile, KP too reported 33 new cases today. KP Health and Finance Minister Taimur Khan Jhagra tweeted that the provincial total now stands at 560.
The minister also reported two more deaths in the province due to coronavirus. The total number of deaths reported in KP are 20. So far, 122 people have recovered from COVID-19 in KP.

Similarly, Islamabad reported 19 new coronavirus cases, taking the tally to 102. Gilgit-Baltistan too reported two new cases, the total stands at 213.
