Sindh's total number of coronavirus cases jumped to 1128 on Thursday after the province reported 92 new cases.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali announced the new number of cases. He said a family of seven living in a town in Karachi’s District Central tested positive for the virus. He further said the family was infected by the head of the family who went outside regularly during the lockdown.
The virus brought into the household by him, infected six other family members, including his six-year-old daughter and one-year-old son, the CM said.
The CM also announced that another person died due to coronavirus in the province. The total number of deaths in Pakistan are 64.
Meanwhile, CM spokesperson said that lockdown imposed will 'likely' to be eased after Apr 14, local media reported. However, the spokesperson further said that a final decision has yet to be taken on the matter.
