A special prayer will be held at Aiwan-e-Sadr after Friday prayers, seeking Allah's forgiveness amid coronavirus crisis in the country.
Special prayer 'Salaat-u-Tauba' will be offered today with extremely limited gathering, local media reported. This special prayer was decided in a meeting held between President Arif Alvi and a delegation of Council of Islamic Ideology, led by Dr. Qibla Ayaz in Islamabad.
Minister for Religious Affairs Dr. Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, will deliver Jumma Khutba, which will be also be broadcasted live.
Meanwhile, Sindh Minister for Information Nasir Hussain Shah has said that the restrictions on congregational prayers across the province will be strictly enforced for Friday prayers.
He has also requested that people pray at their homes and limit their movements outside from 12pm to 3pm today.
