Sindh has reported highest number of coronavirus cases in a single day after 104 people tested positive for the deadly virus.
In a message posted on official handle of the provincial government on Saturday, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that 20% of the total tests conducted in the past 24 hours have come back positive. The CM further said that the number of cases in Sindh was more than the average single-day increase in cases worldwide.
The provincial tally is now at 1318, making Sindh the second most affected province after Punjab, which has 2336 confirmed cases. The chief minister added that after six new deaths in the past 24 hours, the death toll is now 28 in the province.
"919 people are under treatment," Shah further said.

The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan are now 4892, with the country reporting 77 deaths.
